Joseph is brought from prison, interprets Pharaoh's dreams and offers a practical plan for the coming years. Pharaoh then gives him authority to oversee Egypt. His response includes both dependence on God and the wisdom to organise resources.
The chapter does not describe all of Joseph's inner healing, so we should not pretend it does. It does show a change in responsibility. The title asks us to consider whether habits learnt under restriction still govern us when a different role requires clear decisions.
If you have moved into a new responsibility, acknowledge what the former season taught you without assuming its limits still apply. Ask what this role now requires: planning, delegation, communication or accountability. Bring lingering fear to God while learning the practical skills needed to serve well.
